Mr Mo Saeed

Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon

Mo Saeed is a highly experienced consultant surgeon specialising in general and colorectal surgery. He treats a wide range of disorders associated with the intestines and in particular those related to the colon and rectum including colon cancer, haemorrhoids, hernias and gallbladder surgery. Mr Saeed is heavily involved in the teaching and training of both junior doctors and new surgeons and was the first in Manchester to routinely perform the HALO treatment for haemorrhoids and one of a small handful of surgeons in the north west who is trained to perform the Rafaelo procedure.

Dr Hari Prasad

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr. Hari Prasad is a Consultant Anaesthetist in general surgery, intensive care medicine and pain management. Fully trained within the NHS, Dr Prasad also works at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Prasad is responsible for providing anaesthesia and pain management to Manchester Haemorrhoid Centre patients before, during and after operations and surgical procedures. He has a special interest in general surgery anaesthesia where his skills and experience mean you are in the safest of hands when you undergoing your procedure with Manchester Haemorrhoid Centre.

Dr Sarah Wood

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Sarah Wood is a Consultant Anaesthetist in general surgery, intensive care medicine and pain management, providing anaesthesia and getting patients ready for surgery and looking after them afterwards.

Dr Wood is trained in the UK and with many years of expertise in aanaesthesiology - the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during and after surgery. Dr Wood also works as a Consultant Anaesthetist in the NHS at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport and finds teaching and training other junior anaesthetists very rewarding.

Dr Gordon Yuill

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Gordon Yuill is a Consultant Anaesthetist in general surgery, intensive care medicine and pain management. He assesses patient’s fitness for anaesthesia, manages the anaesthetic plan and reversing the anaesthesia to support the patient’s recovery.

With his NHS practice based at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, where he has been an anaestheitst since 2004, Dr Yuill is a key member of our anaesthetist team at Manchester Haemorrhoid Centre and is active in teaching the anaesthetists of the future.

Dr Louise Evans

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Louise Evans is a Consultant Anaesthetist in general surgery, intensive care medicine and pain management. With special interest across the field of anaesthesia including general surgery anaesthetic, Louise is highly skilled in sedation for colorectal procedures and oversees safety and good quality pain relief during and immediately after your procedure.

In addition to looking after our patients in our clinic theatre, since she qualified in 1997 she also holds a similar Consultant Anaesthetist position in the NHS at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Teresa Wilde

Practice Manager

Teresa is our Practice Manager and is usually the first, and often most frequent, point of contact patients have with the Manchester Haemorrhoid Centre. With a health care background spanning over 30 years, Teresa has previosuly held similar positions with Bupa private hospitals as well as Stockport NHS, Tameside NHS and Manchester Royal Infirmary working in Renal, General Medicine, Trauma and Orthopaedics and Opthalmology departments. Teresa is responsible for the smooth running of the clinic and is involved in a wide range of activities including patient care, developing and supervising appointment systems for our patients and clinicians, ensuring accurate records are kept, and liaising with local health organisations such as doctors surgeries.
